Sun Paper Signs for 3 Additional Baotuo Tissue Machines to be Installed at Its Nanning Site in Guangxi
Recently, Sun Paper officially launched its 300,000 t/a household paper and converting line project at the Nanning site of its Guangxi base. Following the successful commissioning of two Baotuo tissue machines at the Beihai site a year ago, Sun Paper has once again signed a contract with Baosuo Enterprise Group for three high-speed crescent former tissue machines.
The contracted model, BC1800-2850, features a design speed of 1,800 m/min and a width of 2,850 mm. As Baotuo’s latest high-end tissue machine, this model delivers industry-leading speed and capacity while integrating energy-saving technologies to effectively reduce per-ton production costs and accelerate investment returns.
The Nanning household paper project is planned in two phases, including production workshops, converting lines, warehousing, and other auxiliary production units. Environmental treatment and thermal power supply will rely on the existing facilities of the Nanning Sun Paper “forest-pulp-paper integration” industrial park. The first phase of construction is scheduled for completion by the end of 2024.
It is reported that through the coordinated development of its “three major bases,” the project aims to establish an optimized, fully integrated forest–pulp–paper industry chain. The implementation of the new household paper project at the Nanning site will further enhance Sun Paper’s production capacity in Guangxi, fully leveraging the Nanning site’s strategic location and the cost advantages of local raw materials, thereby steadily increasing the market share of its fast-moving consumer products in the southern market.
