APP (Asia Pulp & Paper) in Indonesia plans to introduce 24 tissue paper machines from Baotuo Paper Machine, a subsidiary of Baosuo Enterprise Group, in a single phase during the 2026–2027 period. The entire project will consist of four workshops, all to be installed within APP's OKI mill in Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia. Upon completion, the OKI mill will gain an additional 500,000 tons of tissue paper production capacity.
The paper machine for the project is the BC1800 crescent former, featuring a high-end design. It integrates innovative technologies such as intelligent control, energy saving and consumption reduction, as well as high-efficiency forming, which can significantly improve production efficiency, ensure reliable operational performance, and achieve good paper quality.
