Recently, Hengan Group signed a new contract with Baosuo Enterprise Group’s Baotuo Paper Machine division to order four high-speed crescent former tissue machines. These four machines are scheduled to be installed at Chongqing Hengan Paper Base in 2024.
The existing annual capacity of 240,000 tons of household tissue at Chongqing Hengan can no longer meet the growing demand in the Southwest market. Therefore, Chongqing Hengan Paper plans to expand its capacity and restructure its layout in the Greater Southwest region, with Baosuo once again becoming its partner. This follows successful collaborations with Hengan Group’s bases in Fujian, Hunan, Shandong, and other regions.
The machines signed in this contract are model BC1800-3650, with a design speed of 1800 m/min and a design width of 3650 mm. This model represents Baotuo’s new series of tissue machines and has already been contracted by several leading companies in the household tissue industry.
